IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION AND DEADLINES - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

The Early College Studies Program at Stamford High School will be accepting up to 75 students into the incoming 2021-2022 freshman class.  Forty-five of these spots will decided in a lottery process.  Up to ten spots will be decided in an early decision application process and up to twenty spots will be decided in a general admission process.  Please see below our application deadlines:

Timeline:

  • Early Decision Application:
    • Application Due 12/4
    • Notice of Acceptance 12/11
    • Binding Decision by 12/18
    • Students not accepted via Early Decision will automatically be entered into the lottery and placed in the General Admissions applicant pool as well.
    • Students who want to enter the lottery for AITE SHOULD NOT apply to the Early College Studies Program through the Early Decision Process.  This process is for students who want to be in Early College Studies as their first choice of schooling.

  • Lottery Application:
    • Application Due  1/15
    • Lottery Held 1/22
    • Acceptance of position needs to be in by 3/1.  If position is not confirmed by this date, it will be offered to those on the ordered waitlist.
    • At the time of application, you can choose to either enter the Lottery only, or also enter the General Admissions application pool as well.  The application is a little longer but it increases your chances of admission to ECS if placed on the lottery waitlist.

  • General Admissions Application:
    • Application Due 2/15
    • Notice of acceptance 2/22
    • Acceptance of position needs to be in by 3/1.
